My old mechanic moved out of the area, so I needed to find another honest guy, and I've found him! I called 4 shops in Fremont to get info and quotes about changing a timing belt. I was quoted between $485 and $900. What I appreciated about Hossein was that he explained to me which parts should be changed (belt + water pump) and which could wait for the next timing belt change and why. Two of the other places tried to pressure me into changing a lot of other parts (idler pulley, tensioner, cam/crankshaft seals, thermostat) pushing up the bill to nearly double. And these others are places that got good reviews! Overall I was very pleased with the service and returned the next weekend with a question about the alignment on my other car. He took a look and told me just to change my tires. Ka-ching--more money saved! Just 2 weeks later my brother had problems with his engine overheating and he got him fixed up for only $100. This is my new go-to guy!

The owner here, Hosein, is the best mechanic I've found. He's VERY honest, which is the most important, IMO. Diagnostic is free. Price is very reasonable. He's been taking car of my 1997 acura for 3 years, and I've never had any complaints. He's the kind of person who takes pride of his work. I recommend him to many of my friends for the GREAT work he's done.

I have been going to Mr. Hussein's shop for over 8 years now, I was first referred to him by a friend of mines, and he was able to quote a better price than the estimates I got from other places. He is a very honest man and I have referred everyone in my family to him especially my mother and sisters because he does good work at affordable prices.

After having starting problems with my Nissan Pathfinder and not being able to find the problem, I looked up reviews for an auto repair shop in Fremont. I haven't been able to find an honest shop that doesn't try and jack up the repair bill or charge an arm and a leg. I came across several reviews for this shop outside of Yelp and decided to take my car to the Fremont Auto Center. It's a one man shop (operated by the owner), nothing fancy, very basic. However, the owner diagnosed the problem right away (while I was still with him at the shop), gave me a very good price quote to replace the starter, guaranteed to use quality OEM parts and gave me a reasonable time to complete the job. No problems at all! Everything turned out great, price was very reasonable and he finished when he said he would. I think I found myself a mechanic!

Best Mechanic. Great Customer Service. Very Honest. Reasonable Price.Great customer service. Very honest mechanic, which are very hard to find these days (I have been looking for a honest mechanic for the last 3 years). I have taken my parent?s cars and my car to countless other mechanics over the last 3 years (my previous mechanic sold his business), and this is far the best service I experience.I brought in my MY02 Subaru WRX for a timing belt, water pump, alt. belt, and AC belt. I have gotten 8 different quotes and they were the most reasonable (highest quote $870 - dealer). I saved about 50% from the highest bid. I also received my car back the same day (took my car in at 10:00AM and I got it back at 5:00PM). He even saved the parts for me to look at without even asking. I give it 10 out of 10 stars. If you don?t want to get ripped off, bring your car to Fremont Auto Center and ask for Jose. They have a customer for life.

Excellent service and value. I just had my 96 Toyota camry repaired and saved $$$$ with this repair shop. They even painted the wiper arms for free, while I was ready to replace them due to the worn paint. The staff is intelligent and honest and explains the problems in detail. They use genuine OEM parts and labor costs are very reasonable. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
